Dear EMQX Cloud User,

To enhance stability, performance, and observability, we will upgrade the Serverless platform. Dedicated and BYOC deployments are not affected.

Expected Downtime 30–60 seconds (2–3 brief disconnections may occur within the window).

Scope of Impact:
- MQTT connections will drop briefly. Please ensure your clients support automatic reconnection to minimise business impact.
- Creating or modifying Serverless deployments is disabled during the window.
- After the upgrade, the service hostname remains unchanged, but the IP address will change. If you whitelist IPs in firewalls or security groups, please update them accordingly.
- Workloads with no active devices are unaffected.

Your Checklist
- Confirm that your clients have automatic reconnection enabled.
- If you rely on fixed IP allow‑lists, update them after the maintenance window (we recommend using domain names whenever possible).
- Track progress and recovery notices on our status page: https://status.emqxcloud.com.
